Module) Establishment / (Payroll/GPF) Business Use e-Tenders   Construction Of Slaughter Houses Scheme The Ministry of Food Processing, GOI has introduced a scheme for construction of abattoirs/slaughter houses as viable economic activity units besides providing salvation from the hazardous pollution the unhygienic and un-organized way of slaughtering generates. Two projects one for Jammu through JMC at a cost of Rs 2200.00 lac with central assistance of Rs 1500.00 lac has been sanctioned by GOI. The scheme envisages providing the balance funds by the stake holders and the State Govt. Similarly another project stands sanctioned for Srinagar city. The state matching share is to be provided to Animal and Sheep Husbandry Deptt as the project report was prepared and submitted to GOI by that Department.
