During 2004-05 it was decided to provide accommodation to the offices of CTPK/J/ CEO UDAK/JUDA and Directorates of Urban Local Bodies by constructing the office complex to be called as Habitat Centers at Srinagar/Jammu through SDA/JDA respectively. The building at Jammu stand completed  during the  year 2009-10  and  is presently functional. The Building at Srinagar is projected to be completed during the current financial year.  An amount of `355.00 lacs is proposed for the current financial year with a break-up of `300.00 lacs  for Land Acquisition  of land coming   in alignment for Sewerage project Srinagar under JNNURM ( UEED)/ others  and `55.00 lacs for Habitat Centre, Srinagar
