Till 2009-10  the funds under this scheme were  provided to Srinagar Development and Jammu Development Authorities for construction and upgradation of Bus Terminals and other Mini Bus stands to overcome resolve the transport related problems of Srinagar and Jammu Cities. During the previous  financial  year the scheme has been extended for other towns of the State and the funds were released to  two Directors of Urban Local Bodies for Urban Transport. 

       The construction/remaining works of Bus terminal at Pantchowk, Batmaloo, Sumo Stand at Harwan, Truck terminal at Parimpora,  idle parking Nagrota, Terminal at Birpur, Bari Brahamana and inter district terminal at Paloura for Rajouri/Poonch and also some reconstruction of damaged Road at Transport Nagar, Narwal are components of the current years Action Plan under the scheme.
