In order to redress the difficulties of the people of the Charar-I-Sharief Town, the purview of which has extended to about 30 sq. kms comprising of 12 Wards, wherein the newly residential habitations have come on the  hillocks as per the topography of the whole town which has necessitated  construction of retaining walls/ protection walls for soil conservation measures , besides construction/improvements of stepped paths/ lanes & drains to cater the  house disposal water. In order to cater the tremendous flow of Pilgrims and tourists providing of basic amenities by way of construction of toilet/flush points at different spots has got necessitated. Construction of Shop lines and development of parks  in the Satellite Colony is vehemently required for providing the basic amenities at different spots. In order to construct the ablution block and development of park in front of the Holy Shrine  by the Waqaf Board, the rehabilitation of the shopkeepers to be dislocated from the old bus adda temporary tin sheds where taken up as per the instructions of  the H.L.C. Chaired by the Hon’ble Chief Minister, to run their business, till the Alamdar Shopping Complex shall be completed for their permanent rehabilitation. 

In view of the importance and religious significance of Charari Sharief and in order to provide the basic amenities to the different habitations  developed on more than 30 Sq. Kms of area in the purview of Chari Sharief Town,  a DPR  amounting to  `838.00 lakhs has been framed as per priority, to be taken up for execution of various works  during  2013-2014, 2014-2015 & 2015-2016 and 2016-17 so that the grievances faced by the general public are mitigated. Till 3/2017 an amount of `275.00  lakhs  only has been utilized  and an allocation of `100.00 lakhs has been earmarked for the financial year 2017-18 under the Capex Budget for the said project.
